SLF Gift & Naming Opportunities
Many gift opportunities exist at the Scituate Library to leave a living legacy, remember loved ones, or gain publicity for a business or institution.
The Benefactor’s Board
The Benefactor’s Board is a permanent display found at the main entrance of the Scituate Library and is viewed by an estimated 2,000 people every week.
The specially designed name plaques for the Benefactor’s Board are $1,000 each and if requested, can be payable over an extended period of time (contact SLF for details). |

Naming Opportunities
Naming Opportunities cover a wide range of options from entire rooms to individual chairs. Keep in mind, if a naming opportunity isn’t your cup of tea, we welcome any monetary gift you can offer with our whole-hearted thank you, for whatever you can share at this time. The entire naming list is available at the Library.
A brief summary is below:
$20,000 to $50,000 Range
Main Reading Room; Lower Meeting Room; New Book Room; Historical Room; Children’s Picture Book Cove
$2,000 to $10,000 Range
Circulation Desk; Children’s Room Story Time Area; Historical Room (table); Magazines and Newspapers Area; Six Internet Stations
$250 to $1,000 Range
Two Large Print Book Collections; New Non-fiction Section; Four DVD Display Bins; Two Atlas Stands; Library Tables; 12 Children’s Room Chairs
