Event Advisement
Thank you for joining us for this once-in-a-lifetime event. The SLF Train Committee is working hard so your experience prior to, during, and after the train ride will be a memorable one. We are planning to make the day as organized as possible, and would appreciate everyone’s cooperation.

AGENDA (tentative)
The event opens to ticket holders only, beginning at 10:00am on Saturday, October 27. The First Ride GREENBUSH train is scheduled to leave at 11:26am and arrives in South Station at 12:22pm. Free time in Boston is just under two hours. The return train leaves South Station at 2:15pm and arrives in Greenbush at 3:11pm. The MBTA has the final say in departure and return schedules. Bookmark this page and return when it gets closer to the event date for a confirmed agenda.

All boarding of the First Ride GREENBUSH train will be at the Greenbush T station off New Drift Way in Scituate (behind the Driftway Animal Hospital). All ticket holders must board the departing train to South Station in Greenbush, and exit the return train in Greenbush. No accommodations regarding pick-up or drop-off, at any other T stations along the route, will be available.

A few guidelines and reminders follow:

• Arrive early, Greenbush parking lot opens at 10:00am.
• No refunds will be made to those who miss the 11:26am train departing Greenbush.
• No accommodations will be made to those who miss the 2:15pm train from South Station.
• The T station provides little shelter from inclement weather. Please dress accordingly.
• Seating on the train varies. All tickets are general admission and no seat assignments will be made available. We cannot guarantee that groups can sit together.
• Due to the fact that every seat on the train is sold, tickets will be checked before boarding. One ticket per person, no exceptions.
• “Saving” seats for others prior to boarding or on the train is prohibited.
• Please travel with as few carry on items as possible. ALL SEATS are sold, so there is limited room on the train for strollers, backpacks, etc. Please plan accordingly.
• Please use your bathroom before leaving home. While there are some train cars with rest rooms, there are over 800 people riding the train at once. That’s a line you don’t want to be standing in when nature calls.
• Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
• Eating and drinking are not permitted ON the train.
• Smoking on T property is prohibited.

There will be just under two hours of free time from when we arrive in South Station, to when the train pulls out of South Station. We recommend you plan an activity of 90 minutes or less, so you're back at South Station by 1:50pm.

South Station Food Court includes:
McDonalds
